Spring into Summer with our six week challenge kicking off on Monday October 29 until Friday December 7! 

What's Included: 

  • Access to GEL Team Training
    • During the six week program you will gain access to our premium member classes in the Performance Zone. In addition you will also have access to exclusive classes added to the timetable just for you. 
  • Body composition analysis
    • See one of our friendly trainers to have you body analysis done before the beginning of the program. During the final week of the program jump back on the scales to see you results.
    • The major prizes are determined by the biggest change in body composition. This includes the biggest loss in body fat % and increase in Muscle mass percentage. 
  • Nutrition seminar 
    • The Nutrition seminar will be run by dietitian Sliva Nazaretian of Moderate Nutrition. The seminar titled ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ will focus on simplifying nutrition for you. The seminar will take place at 7pm Monday October 29 in the performance Zone.
  • Six week healthy eating plan
    •  In addition to the seminar Silva will also provide meal suggestions and ideas for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can then customise the meal plan to suit your lifestyle and make it work for you.
  • Weekly nutrition facts
    •   Throughout the program a weekly email sent to you which will include helpful nutrition facts and debunk some nutritional myths
  • Weekly prizes 
    • A weekly prize will be given to the particpant who utilises the Mywellness system and accumulates the highest total of MOVES. Prizes includ a PT session, $50 Transcend Spa and Wellness, MyPhysio, Moderate Nutrition and GEL vouchers. 

The program will finish the a casual BBQ at Carnegie Recreation centre on Sunday December 9 at 12pm. The winners of the major prizes’ will be announced on this day. 

GEL HIIT classes will rotate through the following programming: 

  • Classic - 45 second intervals of functional strength and cardio team training.
  • Power - Varied intervals of functional cardio and power training to increase performance. 
  • Everest - Functional Pyramid training intervals to conquer the workout mountain.
  • Enduro - Longer work periods of functional cardio and strength training to get the maximum out of yourself. 
  • Strength & Conditioning - Functional strength and conditioning to get you healthy, lean and strong by following the latest science. 

Additional 6 Week Challenge classes will include the following programming:  

  • 6WC Boxing - Combining dynamic cardio and boxing drills
  • 6WC HITT - Interval based classes which will ensure that you train hard and increase your energy, vitality and performance

Key Dates: 

  • Challenge start date - Monday October 29 
  • Weigh in date - Monday October 29 - Friday November 2
  • Moderate Nutrition seminar - Monday October 29, 7pm  
  • Challenge end date - Friday December 7 
  • Final weigh in date - Saturday December 8, 12pm 
  • BBQ - Sunday December 9, 12pm
