Triathlon

GESAC has partnered with Bayside Triathlon Club to offer triathlon training sessions both on-site at GESAC and utilising local facilities. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned triathlete, our training sessions will motivate you to reach your goals.

Sessions can be attended casually, or for more information contact BTC.

Bayside Triathlon Club training sessions

 Swim Squad – GESAC 50m pool  
 Monday 6.30pm–7.30pm
 Tuesday 6.15am–7.15am
 Wednesday 6.15pm–7.30pm
 Friday 6.15am–7.15am
Spin Session – GESAC Cycle Studio  
Thursday 6.00am–7.00am
Road Ride session – Departs Cheltenham Station  
Wednesday 5.55am
 Run sessions – location varies  
Tuesday (The Tan, Alexander Ave) 1pm–1.30pm
Tuesday (Sandy Athletics Club, Hampton) 6.30pm–7.30pm
Thursday (Bayside Clubrooms, Hampton Foreshore) 6.30pm–7.30pm
Saturday and Sunday sessions – variety of locations   
Brick/Multisport sessions Race specific sessions aimed at both long and short course athletes and suitable for all are able to complete a sprint distance triathlon to the serious Ironman distance athlete.
Weekend rides Variety of courses and distances. Specific beginner rides of 60 minutes and will include bike skills
pre-road ride, plus experienced ride for two plus hours in duration and an average of 30km per hour plus. Also rides suitable for all levels with a variety of options.
Weekend runs A more endurance focussed run that may include tempo efforts, hills or easy aerobic. Suitable for anyone capable of running 30 plus minutes continues.

Water polo
